Rachelle has devoted her career to design excellence and sustainable design.
Her client relationships result in positive experiences and results for the client.
Several projects have been recognized with design awards. She is a national and local
leader in sustainable design solutions.
Before co-founding Studio 2030, she led the interior design and workplace practice for
two major Minnesota design firms in which she helped transform both of these organizations
as a management team leader. She recently served on the board for the Minnesota Environmental
Fund and is a past Director on the national American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
board. She served two terms as a Certified Interior Designer on the licensing board for the
State of Minnesota.
Rachelle is a frequent lecturer on workplace issues and sustainable design and she is an
adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota. She was inducted into the ASID
College of Fellows in 2009. She was awarded the 2004 Designer of Distinction Award from the
Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, won the prestigious 40 Under
40 Business Leaders Award by the Twin Cities Business Journal.
